Discover 3 Useful Benefits Of The RPS Candidate Community

Updated: Aug 6, 2021

“Instead of drifting along like a leaf in a river, understand who you are and how you come across to people and what kind of an impact you have on the people around you and the community around you and the world, so that when you go out, you can feel you have made a positive difference.”

The job search experience can be daunting, cruel and involve rejection at levels we weren’t built to deal with on our own. Think about how you would feel if you were rejected by the worst person you know. You would put up a great face in the moment but if you’re anything like me, you’d probably steam inwardly for some moments after. It’s not because you can’t stand rejection, it’s more because humans are wired to be included. Exclusions, like rejection can mess with our mojo. Now think about the job search experience.

In this post we will cover:

  1. Why have a Candidate Community?

  2. How you can benefit from the community

Community

The beauty of my job is found in the moments I’m able to help people. Making a career out of forming connections with others feels like an honor and a privilege. While it’s impossible to help everyone find a job, the next best thing is to create a space for candidates to form community. I imagined going through the job search with support from professionals and fellow job seekers and realized I could help make this tangible for people.

The RPS Candidate Community

Why it’s here?

The idea for the RPS Community came out of a need to service our candidates — not just the candidates on our shortlist. We wanted to provide support to all the applicants of our posted jobs. I think of my recruitment company like an airport. People are coming and going and I more than anything want to provide support as people find their flight. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to ask questions that could help you get to your destination faster?

How you can benefit from this community?

  1. We have created a space for candidates in the market to get answers and advice from experienced recruiters and fellow job seekers.

  2. Further to this, we have started a Candidate Resource Center that will include a candidate job search library of advice and topics from the community.

  3. To ensure we help you land your next role, we offer personalized services. These customizable services provide more pointed help to the specific challenges of candidates.

Empower, Educate & Prepare

This is the RPS mantra for our candidates. We hope you can join us in building this safe space for job seekers. Stop by before lift off! We’re here to help.
