In addition to tools we have committed to growing a robust candidate community that we provide services, education and support to as part of our business. To further ensure results we also have a partnership network that expands our reach and matches even more candidates with jobs successfully.

Our Philosophy

Treat people how you want to be treated. The job search is a time of transition for everyone involved. Dignity, integrity and respect must hold their place in the career transition process because we are human beings not computers. We have every conversation with this in mind. Following the golden rule allows us to achieve our goal of helping people and companies.

Our Experience

We started recruitment in 2010 and gained experience in the US, UK, Australia and Singapore. We combined our efforts in 2015 forming Rock Point Search to make a difference in this industry. Since then RPS has nurtured a network of developing recruiters, built high functioning teams to increase business profit and defined a new approach to candidate engagement.

Why did you get into recruitment?

Starting out in my career I wanted exposure to a variety of industries and recruitment gave me that inside look.  I stayed in recruitment because I loved the interaction with businesses, candidates and my internal teams. It’s an industry that offers a constant opportunity to learn from people and I really enjoy this aspect.

When did you know you wanted a career in recruitment?

Thankfully I joined a great recruitment firm with a supportive company culture.  At the helm was a vivacious and successful leader.  She gave me the freedom and confidence to set high targets and go for them.  Achieving lofty goals told me this was a career for me long term.  One of my first big achievements included working exclusively with an education client on their expansion.  It was my first taste of curating volume recruitment.  The experience solidified my desire to continue and over time my passion for recruitment has only grown.

What’s your favorite thing about recruitment?

I’m humbled to support candidates in their phase of transition, this gives me great joy.  I’m virtually doing back flips when I place my candidates in jobs!  When they win, I win.  My placements are deeply gratifying and I feel blessed to have a job that makes me a part of such a meaningful moment in someone’s life.

Did you always want to be in recruitment?

I decided to make the switch into recruitment because I wanted a more fulfilling career.  My skillset was connecting with people and building relationships.  This industry allowed me to consult with people and feel like a valued contributor to personal, professional and organizational growth.

Why start a recruitment company vs work for an established firm?

I have worked for some great leaders who have helped me develop.  After several years working as a Recruitment Consultant, I felt I could offer something unique to the industry by broadening my scope.  I wanted to reimagine how businesses engage the talent community and how human expertise is leveraged to improve business outcomes.  In this role, I get to impact positive growth for my business and my community.

Why do you think you are good at recruitment?

There are a few reasons I feel I have had success in this industry but the one that sticks out most is my level of care.  Sure, recruitment is partly about matching skills and experience but it’s mostly about matching human expectations, goals, and visions.  Getting a thorough understanding of these deeper insights requires trust and confidence.  I think people put their trust and confidence in me because they sense that I genuinely care.  Caring makes a big difference.
